However, they can be bulkier and less durable than metal alternatives, with a higher risk of fracture over time. Despite this, their versatility and ease of repair make them a popular choice. |

| Suction Denture: A case with History of Failed Implant-Supported Prosthesis |
 |
| (Consent obtained for documentation and sharing) |
| |
This patient had previously experienced a failed implant-supported prosthesis. The gum ridge was very thin, with little soft tissue and a retracted tongue. All of which made getting good suction quite challenging.
Still, we didn’t give up! After just three visits and teamwork with our amazing dental lab, the final result turned out beautifully.
Can you believe how small the denture is and yet it still achieves great suction?
That’s the magic of suction dentures! Achieving comfort, fit, and confidence, even in challenging cases! |

Things to know about dentures
|
Denture fabrication is a multi-step process and may require several appointments over a few weeks to a month.
During your first visit, the dentist will discuss the different types of dentures available and explain the cost differences, as well as the pros and cons of each option, to help you make the best choice for your needs.
Please note that there will be an adaptation period. It may take some time to get used to your new dentures. Initially, you might experience changes in speaking, chewing and overall comfort.
If the patient has remaining teeth or oral lesions, those must be addressed before starting. Dentures are a replacement, not a perfect substitute for natural teeth. |
